VESA Adapter for Compatible Acer Monitors

Pros:
+ Gives my old Acer S230HL monitor the ability to be VESA mounted
+ Works with my VIVO Dual Monitor Desk Mount

Cons:
- Point of mounting between monitor and mount is supported by only 3 bottom screws, extra care is needed to avoid snapping the base; I recommend against tilting the monitor forward as all of the weight would be loaded onto only the bottom screws; having no tilt or tilting back shouldn't pose a concern as the 2 back brace points provides support
- Doesn't line up with my adjacent monitor given the unique offset the mount gives; however, moving my eyes up an inch to look at a secondary support monitor is hardly a gripe

Other:
~ Gives my old Acer S230HL a breath of fresh air, and is now being actively utilized in my home computer workstation thanks to this special mount

While the box was sealed, the plastic bag holding the adapter inside the box had been previously opened and all of the mounting hardware was missing. Fortunately I had the correct size screws and a was able to complete the install. The product was not advertised as used.

I bought this to connect 2 monitor I have to a vertical stand since 1 monitor didn’t have the VESA. Works good. Plan to buy another monitor when have more funds that has the VESA. This works good for the most part. I just prefer and trust more a monitor designed with the VESA to be mounted with VESA.

A little flimsy, ended up just using the portrait mode since the base neck on my monitor didn’t come off, but no serious problems so far

I cannot recommend this product. It does what it's designed to do well enough, but what it does it try to mount a monitor in a way that the monitor is not designed for. Both of my monitors broke within 2 months of ordering this product as a result of the stress this product places on plastic pieces of the monitor. Buy a new monitor instead, because if you buy this you're going to end up buying a new monitor anyways.
