Clamp-on Desk Stabilizer

While I cannot afford a $2,000 standing desk for which this lovely invention would like not be needed, I can recommend this product to those who have the annoying $300 range DIY desk I have now. I have had some decrease in shaking, but not much. I had hoped that this item would address the "cheap" desks that most of us can barely afford. In the US, there is no in-between. Either you spend a lot of money and get very cheap or just cheap products or you spend all of your money and MaYbE get something that doesn't fall apart or die within a year. So, the items itself seems ok, should have helped me with my desk (for which I thought this was designed), and my insecurities have just grown due to the fact that though I work very hard, I still don't make enough money to be able to afford the very things that will fall apart or melt in under 3 years.

This works exactly as described. My standing desk shook from side to side when fully up and now is solid.

Work got us some stand up desks, but they are very wobbly, especially when standing. It was so bad that typing made the desk wobble. I saw this online and and for $60, I figured I'd just buy it instead of asking work to buy one. It wasn't difficult to install, but the instruction are lacking and there is some adjusting that needs to happen, but it's pretty straight forward.The Desk is 90% better, but I didn't think it was going to be 100% wobble free. My expectations were definitely exceeded. This was much easier than trying to build my own.

When ordering this product nowhere on the listing did it say it was used. After opening the box i found the screw packaging open and one of the screws missing. Luckily i own a server rack and one of those screws worked. Also on the bracket you could see where someone else placed the screws and lock nuts as the nuts left marking on the slot position they used. I would give this 5 stars, but considering i paid full price for a product that came used when it was listed as new, i will stay with my 3 stars for misleading.

Recently purchased a corner standing frame to use with my existing top, and noticed that when the desk was both in the lower sitting position and standing position there was a significant wobble or shakiness to it. Adding two of these was the solution! The desk went from wobbling at the slightest touch to being rock-solid in the sitting and standing positions.The only complaint is that it was hard to get them assembled so they were straight without two people.
