Competitive desk for the price

I decided to upgrade my IKEA desk into a sit/ stand desk after wanting one for years. The instructions, while a bit confusing initially, we’re pretty easy to follow along with. The desks functionality is fast and smooth, and pretty quiet too! I’ve got 3 monitors and a full sized gaming pc, haven’t had any issues so far! I really liked the cable ties that came with the stand, and actually ordered more for the rest of my setup.I’m in love with this thing. It’s so easy to program the heights, and it helps ease my back pain during a long work / gaming session.Would definitely recommend this stand to anyone looking, I’ve had nothing but positive experiences!

I'm in love!

Been wanting a sit/stand desk since I stream on Twitch full time so I spend a lot of time at my desk playing games and creating content. I have a lot of stuff on my desk and knew I wanted an L-shape to fit everything and the fact that this is adjustable to table top lengths is *chef's kiss*. I'm average height at 5' 6" so this is definitely tall enough for me!Assembly was good, the directions are good enough but some stuff isn't completely explained and the pictures are a bit too small to really see where things need to go. Especially if it's something that isn't really mentioned. I do like the included cable management tray! Can fit a decent amount of cables in it and the power cable is nice and long. Still have some more cable management to do, the bars going underneath do make you think about how you can fit everything. (please enjoy my S tier cable managment). The leg leveling things on the bottom of the feet adjust to make it level depending on how angled your floor is. So that's pretty neat. The touch pad works well! Have to press and hold to wake it up after not using it for a bit. But really easy to work! While building and cable managing I did get E06 on the screen which is the "ay yoo there's something blocking my way, pls move it tysm" even though there wasn't but just tapping it again it was all good. Now that I have everything set up and cable managed, Haven't gotten any error codes since. It's quiet enough that while I'm streaming it can't be heard. But YMMV depending on the type of mic and mic settings you use. The video kinda makes it seem loud but it's not THAT loud imo.Very much in love with this desk!Enjoy the cat photobombs!!

Sturdy sit-stand with a real problem with controller

Many good things to say about this desk: sturdy, nicely designed, simple assembly, stable. All things you need in a good work station. There is one glaring issue with this desk: the controller unit.I found out the hard way that when the desk is fully assembled it can be quite easy to initiate a controller unit full reset. It is started by pressing the up and down arrows on the unit in unison which then initiates a reset. I did this quite by accident. Leaning up on the controller it started a reset and when I pulled back from the unit it immediately displayed an error code E19. The only way to then reset the unit is to force a complete reset. Again, press the up and down arrow. Problem is, make sure you have NOTHING adjacent or under the desk because once you initiate the reset it will lower to the bottom most leg height and will not come back up until it resets. And that's where my problem started. Not knowing this, the desk was dropping down on those items adjacent and under my desk to the point where they were being crushed and the desktop was tilting and dropped causing items on the desk to fall off. I needed the assistance of a helper to lift the desktop and remove those items that were being crushed and preventing the complete resetting of the controller. Absolutely crazy. Just be warned the controller has no bounce back safety feature which could seriously damage items in its path or damage the desk frame itself.

Great desk, but it’s heavy

It’s a great desk, and can adjust based on the tabletops you might want. I went with cheap ikea lagkapten (78” and 39”) desktops but will be switching over to hardwood later. It moves up and down very smoothly. Building was a little hard as the frame itself is very heavy. The instructions aren’t too hard to understand but I wish the graphics were a bit bigger as knowing when and where to put the different screws was a bit hard to see. But after putting everything together it feel like a very solid desk even despite me using cheap desktops! Would recommend if you aren’t afraid of a little heavy lifting and hard work!

Best auto-lift standing frame I have ever used!

This isn't the easiest to assemble: it is heavy, a fair amount of hardware (plus extra if you want to alter the configuration to right facing L), three motors with cables, etc. But, it is very well worth it! It is insanely sturdy; mine has 1.5" thick walnut butcher blocks, each 25" wide and 60" long, which is a lot of weight from the wood alone. I have two 40" monitors and a handful of books, and the thing still lifts up without a hitch and with seemingly little effort. There is a built in sensor if the desk hits an obstacle while rising/falling, the manual programming is simple to use (and change), and you can mount the switch anywhere you like on the underside of the table top. I also mounted a mac mini and a powerstrip for a clean look. The base is somewhat more wide and bulky than I imagined, so keep that in mind if you are trying to fit it into a tight corner. The only downside is, if you need to configure into a right-facing-L, you will need to do that on your own, which isn't too difficult (I used 2-3 flat mending plates, that are hidden underneath anyway, so you can't even notice). The other hardware provided is quality enough to get the job done and still have a sturdy desk that can hold a serious amount of weight. I use it standing and sitting, and my partner does as well (we have a height difference of about 9 inches, fyi), which is simple to measure/program to desired height(s). I have no regrets about going with this stand; even at a slightly higher price point, the quality is absolutely worth it, especially if you plan to use the desk for many years!
