Inconsistent leveling

It's possible to adjust the backplate to ensure the display is level on the rotational access, but if you move the arm to any other combination the display won't stay level. What's the point of having an extendable tv mount if you can't use it?

Isn't as adjustable as described

This installed just fine but when it came to adjust the tension for the range of motion. Nothing worked. It was unable to move as described and after hours of frustration we just gave up and returned it.

Very sturdy Holds up Dell 43" monitor?

Short answer is yes it holds up the Dell 4317Q just fine and is perfectly adjustable. The issue is the plate is to large for the opening on the back of the monitor. It took shaving off about 1/4 of mounting bracket on each side to make it fit. I imagine this voids the warranty but it works great

I'm happy though it hard to move

Plus:sturdymoves up / down, tilt up down, swivelMinus:Hard to move arms left / rightConcerned about the plate holder so far out from plumb but plenty of adjustment in mount plate to compensate. Fairly difficult to adjust arms left to right.
