Well built but when it does break, unrepairable!

I purchased this desk frame in 2018, and it worked wonderfully for seven years. Recently, the motor in one of the legs failed. The desk will still raise and lower normally, for a few minutes, but the failed leg no longer consistently supports weight, so it begins to drop and the desktop tilts to one side.

I called VIVO customer support and spoke with an agent, Alex, who was very friendly and helpful. I explained the issue and asked if it was possible to get a replacement leg. She said that, per their technician, this desk model has undergone several updates over time and that the legs for my model are no longer available.

I'm not disappointed that the desk failed. It's seven years old, and things break over time. BUT, it doesn't make sense that I should have to purchase an entirely new desk when it's a modular system and not THAT old. It would be far more reasonable to swap out the failed leg assembly.

VIVO gets high marks for customer service, construction, and functionality. Where they've failed is after-purchase parts and support for repairs. What could have been a relatively simple repair instead requires purchasing a completely new desk frame. The old desk frame will go to the landfill.

Outstanding product!!

Order process was easy. Shipping/Delivery was great. Assembly was easy. Everything went together with precision. Used a granite top. Entire podcasting studio with 2 monitors fits perfectly and looks great. Standing to sitting and back again id effortlessly and quiet. I enjoy the product so much, I purchased a second table a couple of weeks later. High quality from start to finish. Thanks!!

It is good, but I can't fit properly on my desk after I have all the other VIVO accessories installed
