A necessary evil but they do work

I have 2 older Acer work monitors (21in) that do not have vesa mounts on the back. While i would prefer a different way to connect the monitors, the placement of the dvi/vga ports make this the only option to add them to a triple monitor stand. It does work but no matter how much you tighten the arms they are still able to move a bit. I have tightened them to the point of the washer bending into the groove where it sits.My advice is once you get it setup don't ever touch it. If you need to adjust the monitor position on the stand, move it from the arms of the stand or near the Vesa mount. Dont just push/pull on the monitor. It works and holds the monitor once installed. Although, it does block the monitor buttons since they are on the bottom corner of the monitor but this is just where mine are located. The adapter does hold the monitor securely while installed on the stand and I don't have any concern that it will fall.So if you have to use these to connect a non-vesa monitor to a stand, they do work after some installation frustration and trial and error of the adapter arm placement.

Series 24” LED Curved FHD FreeSync monitor

The product is not made for curved monitors. That much was apparent as I tried to seat my monitors in. The arms will flex to accommodate it so while I am using it they cannot be moved much as the arms will snap back to their original shape potentially dropping and damaging your monitor. Using a rubberized grip of some kind will keep it in place but beware the L supports are hard plastic and may scratch your monitor. Overall it functions for what I need, but it was not made for curved non vepa monitors.

Got it working, but it took some doing.

I used this for a 24” Acer display. The bracket fit relatively easily to the monitor; it blocks the DVI port but the power and DisplayPort are open which suits my purposes. The screws for holding the arms to your (existing) VESA plate, are a bit scary. They’re BARELY larger than the slot meant to hold them. Fortunately it includes eight of them, so with a 75x75/100x100 VESA plate I was able to use all eight. The biggest difficulty with these screws, is that the screw heads are inaccessible once the bracket is on the display, so any adjustments have to be made using just a wrench, and the screws will be able to freely turn. Using a hex-head stud with a channel for it to fit in, would be a better idea - but more expensive, so fine. It’s a choice. The real hassle, is the M6 screws and the “L” supports. The screws will NOT thread through the sockets; there’s powder-coating gumming up the threads in the sockets. Fortunately I have a M6 tap to clear those with; clearing them by just using a screw would have taken forever. Once the holes were cleared it assembled up okay. The L-brackets are WAY oversized for the purpose, they extend easily 3/4”+ onto the front surface of the display. And modern displays, don’t have 3/4” bezels so that means the top two are intruding on screen real estate. So ultimately, yeah it’s an inexpensive way to overcome having bought a display and then later wanting to use VESA with it, and finding it wasn’t compatible with VESA. Instead of having to spend $200-$300 on a new display, I fixed it for $30 or so. That’s the good news. If I didn’t “happen” to have a M6 Tap in my toolbox, I’d have sent it back though.

I can not stress this enough, this is complete and utter garbage!

If I could, I would give this adapter a -100 stars. It is the most useless piece of garbage I have ever bought. People, seriously, if you value your time and sanity or even the secureness of your monitor. I implore you not to buy this product. There are not world to describe the utter ridiculousness of this adaptor. There is not proper way to mount this to a monitor, it is the most convoluted product I have seem. VIVO, you should be ashamed of yourselves for bringing this product to market.

Returned….. not good

Concept is good but execution is poor. The drill holes are the wrong size and nearly impossible to screw in. Very unstable as well.

About Product
Today's monitor market offers a wide variety of sleek, attractive designs that look great on any desk. However, a large portion of these completely lack VESA mount compatibility, and as a result, cannot be mounted to a different stand or wall mount that may be needed for clean multi-monitor setups or better ergonomics. And if a compatible adapter is not available, mounting one of these monitors is basically impossible. Until now, that is!

  • Fits VESA monitor mounts with 75x75mm and 100x100mm hole patterns
