Cross Legged Chair with Wheels

** This chair was purchased mid-July and we are in September and this problem STILL hasn't been resolved **

My husband purchased this chair for my WFH position so I use it 5 days out of the week. It is a good chair however the piston works great to raise the height HOWEVER the locking mechanism to keep it at that height doesn't work. I raise the chair to my preferred height however when I sit it in, the chair lowers down to the lowest setting. My husband has emailed customer service over and over however nothing has been done to help me with my chair. I should be able to use this chair comfortably and the way that i want rather than the only way I am allowed to because something is broken within the chair and Customer Service won't help. I am sure we can buy the parts and replace them to work properly but for the amount of money we spent, I shouldn't have to.

The back bracket is wobbly and that's fine and all but when I wear my hair loose, it constantly snagged on the bracket. I had enough because a girl can only pick her hair up for so long so I cut my hair but that's what it took: me cutting my hair.

The footrest is not actually adjustable and honestly isn't well designed overall. It's supposed to tighten into place around a plastic collar type of thing, but it's extremely difficult to tighten enough and the plastic collar is only nominally adhered to the metal outer square that's supposed to tighten. It's good enough, I guess, but I wish I'd gone with the other brand with a similar design. That one doesn't claim to have an adjustable footrest.

The quality is good with this chair and is what I was looking for. My only wish is that the chair had a full back so it supported your lower back.
