Frosted Clamp-on Desk Privacy Panels (x2)

So once I got the horrid paper off the glass, it was great. Many have tried to find the secret to getting the paper off, as you'll read in the other reviews. Here's what I did that worked. Get WD40 and spray it on the paper. Wait a couple minutes and slowly peel away. It loosens the gummy part of paper and peels right off. It does, however, create quite a mess, so you'll need to wipe off.

This was by far my worst purchasing experience on Amazon. First, the protective paper was impossible to take off. If you call their support for help, don't expect any good tips on how to remove it. After some researching, the best way to remove the protective paper was to lather it with vegetable oil, let it sit for 5 minutes or so, peel the edges and slowly roll if it off with a roller of some kind (I used the bottom of a broken close hanger). I thought that was going to be end of my troubles but nope. Like another poster stated, the bolts are too long. I have a standard inch thick desk (25.4mm) and I couldn't use the bolt to secure the clamp. I would have had to drill 4 holes for every panel to secure the clamp with screws. I rarely write reviews, but felt the need to express and warn people against purchasing this item. Firstly, the screws provided for affixing the clamps DON'T fit and it's the type of clamp that requires you to screw into your table, which is completely not necessary as the shields themselves are solid but not that heavy. So after making adjustments/rigging to put additional fittings to help the clamp fit my table without the need to screw the clamp to the table, the screws that are screwed into the back of the clamp in order to stabilize the back of the shield to the front of the clamp (to help the clamp fit snugly to shield) well, those screws don't even fit, making it impossible to stand the shield up! So the clamps themselves are completely useless!!! Secondly, the protective film that is covering the both shields on both sides of the shields, are not friendly to remove. It literally took me 27mins to remove, peel and scrape the 'protective' film from ONE of the shields!!! If I hadn't already spent sooooooo much time messing with it to get it to work, I would have/should have sent it back, but WOW, yeah, until they update the clamp provided, steer clear.So, if you are brave enough to purchase this product, please buy separate clamps and save yourself a headache!

Cant get the protective paper off

What is the point of the cover sticker ??? Took hours to take it off. Would want to return it but already start and needed it. But don’t waste your money. I still have one is untouched. Should have read the reviews before spend my money on such useless item.
